Veck.io Beginner Setup Checklist

Most early frustration comes from changing too many variables at once. Lock a simple baseline first, then play enough matches to judge it.

1. Lock fullscreen and frame stability first

Start in fullscreen whenever possible. It reduces distractions and makes target transitions easier to read. If the embedded frame is unstable, open the dedicated play page and keep other heavy tabs closed.

2. Pick one sensitivity and keep it for a week

Do not chase a perfect number every day. Choose a sensitivity that lets you clear a doorway in one smooth motion without overshooting, then keep it unchanged for at least a week of normal matches.

  • If you constantly overflick, lower sensitivity slightly.
  • If you cannot turn quickly enough to track close threats, raise it slightly.
  • Change one variable at a time.

3. Simplify keybinds

Use the settings layout only if you can repeat it under pressure. The most important thing is that reload, crouch, aim, and weapon swap feel automatic. Review the current settings reference and remove any duplicate binds you never use.

4. Build a three-minute pre-match routine

Your first match should not be your warmup. Run a short routine before queueing:

  • 30 seconds of left-right tracking
  • 30 seconds of stop-and-shoot rhythm
  • 60 seconds of corner pre-aim practice
  • 60 seconds checking routes and cover timing

5. Review after five matches, not after one

A single bad round does not mean the setup is wrong. Judge your setup after at least five real matches. Look for repeat issues such as overflicks, panic reloads, or wide swings with no cover.
